If you need more time
Do you have several topics or questions you would like to discuss? Please indicate this when making the appointment, this way we can take this it into account while planning your appointment.
Assistants
The assistant plans the agendas, takes care of the repeat prescriptions, arranges the medical and financial administration and carries out various medical procedures by appointment. This includes measuring your blood pressure, injections, urine checks, removal of stitches, wound checks, and STD consultation.
They have a duty of confidentiality, just like your other healthcare providers. They often ask about the nature of the inquiry. They need this information for the triage (is it responsible to wait until the consultation hour?) And for the planning (do you need a double consultation or is it more convenient to have a blood sample taken first?).
Home visit
If it is not possible to come to the practice yourself, the doctor can also visit you at home. The assistant assess whether a home visit will be made. The home visit is not intended for people who do not have the time or transport to come to the regular consultation hours. Preferably, home visits should also be requested before 10:00 am.
E-consult
An e-consultation is a secure way of having e-mail contact with the general practice. You will always receive a response to your question within 1 working day. There is a possibility to add a photo. This information will be added to your medical file.
Videocall
A video-consultation is not currently available in practice.
Wart treatment
Treatments with liquid nitrogen are available every first week of the month.
For children, consider using the skin numbing ointment, Emla cream. This must be applied an hour beforehand to be effective in it’s pain relief.
Referral
It is not possible to receive a referral after the consultation has taken place. This means that if you want to be referred to a specialist, you must first visit the GPs for a consultation. The general practitioner will then assesses whether the referral is justified and necessary.
